Linux Virus

Linux is one of most secure operating systems but still it is infected by viruses. Linux is quite a challenge for program developers to create virus that can execute themselves on linux platform.

One of the few notable virus that we know for Linux was Bliss. Bliss tends to attach itself with the executable Linux files which ordinary user dont have access to. However bliss virus do not have efficiency to propagate due to complex structure of linux OS. Though it was the only virus which gain popularity.

Actually when bliss was released many anti-virus companies came up with their solution for this threat. They projected this as a crisis and tried take up the advantage. But nothing worked as bliss never get widespread popularity and never caused a large scale infections.

We never see linux virus outbreak because virus never could carry out their task in hostile linux environment. But one we may guess experts could came up with a virus that could survive in linux, untill then feel safe to use Linux
