Firefox has released the new version Mozilla firefox beta 4 to download. Its a quite old news now, most of you guys might have upgraded to the new version. But some of the guys are reporting frequent crash of the new version and compatiblity of some addons and plugins. So, in this post I will be telling you a method to downgrade yourself to the older firefox 3 version and remain with it, without upgrading.
At first go to options in your firefox4 by clicking on the left hand side top orange firefox button. Then go to advance and then click on update. 
Uncheck the firefox button. This will discard the firefox3 to automatically upgrade to firefox4.
- Now you need to download the setup for mozilla firefox 3.6.16 and double click the setup file.
- Follow the instruction and close the firefox4, and click on the upgrade button ( yeah! I know we are downgrading).
- Now restart the firefox now you will notice that firefox3 is back.
Keep using the older version and check periodically if the problem with firefox 4 is shorted out or not. Because in my opinion firefox4 is much better a browser.
